Disneyland Day Changed

Last Tuesday we set out for a nice weekday visit to Disneyland. We live about 26 miles away and have annual passes so a random visit is fun and relaxing….NOT THIS TIME!
The line just to enter the parking garage was out to the street!
We made a quick lane change and turned back East to spend the day at the Circle in Orange. It is one of the few roundabouts in California and the surrounding streets are full of Antique and specialty shops. We shopped a little then had a tasty lunch at Watsons Drug store soda fountain…pastrami melt and chocolate male ,double malt powder!
More antique hunting and a stop at Frogs Breath cheese shop(not as good as I thought it should be but way more pretentious) looked at every nook and cranny of a great restoration hardware shop (muffshardware.com) then in the next shop I found a new friend…a squirrel from China , not for the trade no import marks and a nice crackle under the light jade green glaze. He is so charming, the photos do not do him justice . He is about 4 inches tall and looks very surprised! Bob figured out he is a stick incense holder , now he is my desk friend.

OH! I am so surprised!
