Skywatch Friday ~ Thanksgiving view

The view from one of the winding lanes of Laurel Canyon.

Yes, this is a view of me observing the Griffith Park Observatory from the hillside driveway of a friends home where we spent a very lovely Thanksgiving yesterday.

Do not let the sunshine fool you, it was pretty chilly outside (for Southern California!)in the low 60s all day and dropped to the low 30s overnight.

Indoors was an entirely different story, the warmth of friends and family poured beyond the kitchen to flood the house with joy and laughter.

The day flew by ,many turkeys were fried, much leeky cheese bread was consumed and multiple desserts disappeared !

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Day, I know I did!

Thanks to the crew over at Skywatch Friday for everything you do every week to make this happen !
