Yes folks it rained in Southern California today.
The first rain of Autumn fell for about an hour and a half,leaving us with a nice cloudy day and almost 1/32nd of an inch of rainfall,small indeed but we take what we get here and be glad of it.
The perfect sort of day formed after the rain,cool with giant clouds floating about,listening to smooth jazz,a roast going in the crock pot…just right.

Glad you were blessed with rain. If you get more than you want, send it to Texas. We are desperate need of it. Your photos are great.
UPDATE: As of 5pm we are getting a nice steady rain,maybe up to a half inch(that is a lot for us in a day) This kind soaks in and really helps the landscape.
