Eight O’Clock Bean Coffee

Great coffee since 1859!

The sign is a retro nostalgia piece made for home decor.

The charming little bank made of tin to look like the coffee bag is a real item from the 1950’s era. It was sold full of coffee and then could be used as a bank, ever the reminder that Eight O’Clock coffee is the one to buy.

I love these old tins and actually think I have one in yellow.

  3. I still see this brand in the stores. The vintage tin is very cool.

Yes indeed they are still in business, over 150 year young as they say!

  4. I’ve never heard of this brand…is it American? Love the old tin and sign.

Yes Leslie, Eight O’clock coffee is the signature product of The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., an American company that began in New York City in 1859. They are better known as simply the A&P Markets.

  5. Very interesting!

  6. How darling. I’ve never seen that brand. But I am a 50’s gal.

  7. I remember the bags, and I don’t even drink coffee.
